they are all in a series with one plug for all of them.

Check your connections. They should all be the exact same temp. The ambient temp, however, will be different because heat rises. I have noticed a four or five degree difference in the ambient temps between the bottoms and top of my racks, but not the floor area.

But you'll find flexwatt pieces while they in theory should be the same rarely are.
Just get them all as close as possible and go with it :)

I have a 4 degree difference on a 7 tub rack. The kicker is that it is 2 in the middle that are the cooler ones.
