Showcase tanks (Constructed of High-Density Polyethylene Plastic) and UTH, any ideas
Hey gang! Just received a Showcase tank I ordered for my Mohave and while setting it up noticed that my lrg ZooMed UTH won't stick to the plastic bottom :( They are shipping me a heat pad holder (? I dunno either ?) but was wondering in the meantime if anyone else has run into this issue with a Showcase or any other plastic-type tank. Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks, Joe

The only other problem I had with these cages was that my female Mojave would get stuck in the small area just above the glass doors. So I went to Low's and got a 6' foam tube for .97 cents and put that up there so she couldn't fit.

Awesome! I appreciate the idea, one question tho, the heatpad doesn't melt the duct tape at all?

Yeah - you don't want to use duct tape. It will make a gooey mess eventually. Go to Home Depot in the hardware section and buy some aluminum plumbing tape instead.
