    hi
I have two bps and we think they are opposite genders. We thought the one was female and the other one was male.BUT there is a problem: our "male" has stopped eating! You see, we live in Africa and don't have any means of sexing them.We thought that royal was a male because he is small(1200g) and the other one is big.Well, we hadn't fed them in a while because we couldn't catch any food for them.Royal ate one mouse and then refused two big rats later!?Since he hadn't eaten for a while, we assumed he would be really skinny;but he was really pudgy.
Today we checked on him and he is FAT.???

It could just be a winter fast for a true male. Or you have an ovulating female. 1200g is a little small though for a breeding female. I'd try to find someone that knows how to pop sex a snake. Have you been keeping them together, or are these wild caughts?

I know its small, and I can't understand it.She(or he) is still big today.I'll try to send a pic soon.
I really want babies so i am really excited.I am very hopeful. These ones are wild caughts and are living together. We have a vet here but i don't know if she can pop a snake.
    thank you for responding. :)
