Gravid (Ovulating) Varanus tristis

Nothing about this process looks comfortable. I'm not sure what is worse, the swelling at ovulation and the overly amorous male that jumps on her every time she's on the ground.

Now she looks far from comfortable. Looks like she's yoking up a bunch for ya :)

That looks terribly uncomfortable! And I thought a BP ovulation looked bad! Ouch! :O

I am going to have to agree that none of the two things you mentioned sounds very comfortable for her!!! Good luck with everything :salute:
