    Dry looking scale....
My bp has a dry/cracked scale at the tip of his nose - what causes this??

I soaked him in hopes of softening this up but it still looks dry. Should I be worried??

The humidity in his tub is always at least 65 percent. The only thing I can think is that he is kept on indented craft paper - maybe it's too rough.

    Your thoughts

    Thanks

It is possible that he was rubbing his nose on something. It's really nothing to be to concerned about at this point. It should resolve itself after the snake sheds.

I guess he could have rubbed his nose on either his hides or the actual tub. If you think it isn't anything to worry about - I will just keep an eye on him

    Thanks
