First BP - When to start handling
    Hello,

I just picked up my first BP on Tuesday and have left him alone till today so he could settle in. I fed him a f/t today which went well:D.

I plan to leave him alone a couple more days now that he ate, but after that would be it alright to start handling him or should I allow him some more time to acclimate to his new home?

On a different note, thanks to everyone who has been so helpful in answering all my first timer questions and helping me get my husbandry right. The community here has been really great.

I'll post up some pics when I get a chance, he's been in his hides for the most part and I've been doing my best to not disturb him.

You can start handling him 48 hours after he has eaten. Good job on letting him settle in.

I fed mine a few days afer he arrived then I waited two days and handled him. I have to admit when I first too him out of the shipping bag I did check him out a bit. He had an amaing feeding response.
