lifted side scales from PVC pipe hide????

i have 4inch Diameter PVC pipe hides in my cage and ive notices ever since i put them in the scales on his sides were being lifter up from when he curls up in the pvc and stays there for hours at a time. he loves the pvc hides, always in them... what should i do??? thanks.

Any chance of finding wider PVC ? Maybe at a plumbing warehouse ?

My only other suggestion is to try plastic cereal bowls. All of my babies up to about 500 grams get dollar store cereal bowls turned upside down with a door cut in the side.

From 500 to about 900 I use dollar store tortilla keepers the same way. Over 900 grams, I use dollar store plastic candy bowls. They sell them at Halloween and Christmas. Orange and black, or red and green. They have silly little prints on the outsides, but my snakes don't seem to care.
