    Chucwala and more....
I don't know many people who own chuckers. I have one female. She's an ornery girl. Especially for an herbivore. I caught her last summer by Alamo Lake in Arizona when we went on a camping trip. I caught quite a few the two days we were down there actually. First are the chuckers then the rest.

Desert iguana. She's no longer with us. :(

Nice Lizards, I used to live in Tucson, I've caught many Collard lizards. They are probably my favorite of all Sonoran lizards. I always wanted to find a leopard lizard with no luck. How often do you make it to AZ?

Usually once a year at the end of July. The best place for a leopard lizard is down by Alamo lake. My nephew caught one there last year. Great place for the spiney, chucker, collards, desert iguana and more.

I'm not familiar with Alamo lake. I used to hang out around Lake Patagonia outside of Sierra Vista. Where is Alamo lake? I live in south Florida now, not likely to make it back to Arizona any time soon.

I have a chucky too....a boy. When I got him he was not in very good shape. But 9 months later he is one fat and happy little lizard. And yes....with an attitude ....lol. He will not try to bite you at all....but if you rub a part of his head his mouth opens.....lol

Sorry for the tardiness of my response.

I'm not too familiar with Lake Alamo myself. Last year was the first year I was there. But I do know, that the lizards sun themselves on the side of the dirt road leading to the lake. There is another area that is rocky that the chuckers are and even Collard lizards.
