Tricks for feeding after changing tubs
I have three females that ate extremely well and when it was time to move them to a larger tub now they won't eat. What can I do to encourage them to start eating again?
Re: Tricks for feeding after changing tubs
It has been about two weeks. The tubs are the 41 qt tubs used in most racks. I am not worried yet just asking for tips before it is actually needed. I like to be prepared.

In my experiences, patients is the key.
Since they have been growing enough for you to move them into a larger tub, it is possible that they have hit the proverbial "wall." If this is the case, they will begin eating when they start to feel like it, just continue to offer food every week or two.
If they have stopped eating due to the move to the larger tub, then there are several things that you can try. Add more stuff to the tub to make the tub feel smaller. Add more hides to give your snake more choices for where she feels secure. Or, be patient and keep offering food every week or two until she decides to start eating again.
A BP that decides to take some time off of food is a typical BP. Sometimes they just decide to stop eating. Yes, you might be able to persuade it to start eating again through elaborate setups or sheer persistence. But as long as your setup and temps are good, your snake will decide to begin eating when it is ready too.
I hope this helps,
