Acrylic Habitat

Hello everyone! I have my Ball python and my blood python in tubs right now, and the ball is pretty content in his, but the blood is outgrowing his. I live in a small efficiency apartment type place so I do not have the capability to heat a room with a space heater. My Ball's tub is set up with a piece of 11" flexwatt on the bottom, and a small heat pad on the side to keep the ambient ups, it seems to be working for him. Now the Blood's set up is pretty complicated...he hates belly heat and the only way to keep the ambient at a steady 82 is his entire little tub is wrapped in 4" flexwatt and there is an 11" piece on top.

Well, I want something to change because the upkeep for mainly the blood's, but also the ball's is very hard. In Fairbanks we have barely any humidity because Fairbanks actually is considered a desert, and it's just really stinking cold! Tanks are my last resort because they are so heavy and awkward and I don't want to deal with bulbs drying out the air even more.

Anyways, we have these acrylic cages here(and online), mainly for geckos, but I was wondering if they could work as snake cages. I plan on probably making the Blood a custom cage with radiant heat paneling once he is an adult, but he is young right now. But yeah, does acrylic hold heat well? Would it melt with the flexwatt on it?(of course the flexwatt is on a thermostat) I was visualizing the cage laying flat, not standing up. We have a pretty big one here.

It's not exactly this, I think they are different brands, but they look kinda the same.

What are the dimensions of it?
I feel like that would be way too small for a bp. Haha the pic is probably making it seem too small.
Bp's need more width than height. But I suppose it could work sideways...
Honestly I don't think that is the best option for a ball python.
Also Bulbs are not necessary for Bps. A Heating pad will suffice. :]

I said in my earlier post that I was visualizing it laying flat, like a square, not standing up vertical. That one is little in the picture, the ones we have here are plenty big for my Ball Python, I want to guess the dimension are laying down flat maybe, 3 feet long...2 feet wide, and 1 foot high.

I have an exo terra one. It is 36"longx18x18 I love the way th doors open and it is very attractive looking.

Are you using it for you snakes laying flat like I was thinking?
