    ambient air temp question
how would i keep the ambient air temps at around 75-80... i have a UTH on the hot side and a cool side hide but when the temp drops at night during the winter and early spring, i am afraid that the overall air temp is a bit cool.... would heat tape around the outside of the tank help at all???

Yeah, I've heard of people using that method, usually just on one side of the glass. Or you could put another UTH/heat tape under the cool side and regulate it to 80 with a thermostat. Or, depending on the room that you have the tank in, you could use a space heater.
