    Finally caught that enchi coloring...
Anyone who's tried taking pictures of enchis knows that it's ridiculously difficult to capture their coloring on camera. I think I finally managed to figure out the trick to it with my camera. :gj:

    Great job!

If you have any tricks that you can share, please do. I've been driving myself crazy trying to get the color right, especially on my enchis, and I'm still not there.

Thanks everyone! Those subtle greens and yellows seem to give my camera a heck of a time...

You shoot with a Canon right? The auto mode on mine (Rebel XT) really seems to tone down the yellow and greens on any snake I shoot. If you can shoot in raw it really helps out. That way the camera isn't doing any kind of post processing on it and messing up the colors on you.

Really nice! I know exactly what you mean about how difficult these are to photograph. I struggle with snake photography in general (doesn't help that they don't always want to stay still!) and getting colors right but the Enchi is by far the most difficult. I've taken quite a few of mine and have yet to get one pic I like. I'm shooting with a Nikon D90 so it definitely isn't the camera's fault.
