What makes a pastel a super?
I am pretty sure the next snake that I pick up is going to be a pastel. I am planning on breeding to eventually get some bumble bees, supers, and killer bees. I am mainly doing this for fun, and hopefully selling most of the babies and just holding back the ones that look great or I need for breeding. Because I realize that the time it takes for me to finally produce a killer bee I probably could have bought a couple for less money!!

I am getting better on identifying morphs, but am a little puzzled by super pastels. I understand that you get them by breeding pastel x pastel, and that the odds are then 25% that you will get a super.

So...what is the difference between a super and a regualar pastel? How do you differentiate between them in the clutch? Do you compare the offspring and the better looking ones are supers???

Is there any way to clearly tell if a snake is a super when buying one? Or do you just take the breeder's word for it??

    Thanks!

Thank you very much! I did a search on here, but apparantly didn't use the correct search parameters because that thread didn't show up!

    Thanks again!

It dies when it gets close to a Kryptonite rock.;):D

Or you breed a Pastel to a Pastel and the real pretty blushed out ones are "Supers". Statistically 1 in 4. One of these 2 things is right.:D

There are some that are "tweeners", but you can usually tell.
