How can a panda pied be a double super? Pied is a recessive mutation, therefore there isn't a super form.

Pied is the super form of Het pied

Super pastel is made from a visual het and a pied is made from a recessive het, Super pastel and Pieds are both homozygous or super forms.
When you breed a super pastel to a normal you get 100% hets, in this case visual hets we call pastel.
When you breed a Pied to a normal you get the same outcome, 100% hets in this case recessive het pieds.

A het is a het whether it's visual or recessive :)
