    Basic breeding Questions
Hi all. I'm looking to purchase a couple snakes next month, and the answers to these questions will determine the age and size of the snakes I get because I'd eventually like to start breeding. Any help you can provide is greatly appreciated.

    1) Is an incubator required for breeding? I remember reading a debate on here a few months ago but can't find the thread. If so, how much do they cost, approx?

    2) Is there a specific time of year that you would suggest attempting to breed BP's? I know the ideal time is November-March, but is it okay to breed in, say, summer months?

    3) Are there different temps/humidity levels required for the ideal breeding situation?

That's all I have for now, I'm going to click submit new thread and go back to browsing the breeding forum. Thanks!

Keep reading and learning. This is an awesome link that will answer 99% of your questions, and, yes, my recommendation and that of a large majority on this site will be to use an incubator for your eggs. You have more control of the temp/humidity (typically 89 degrees and 100% humidity.)

I know most people here use an incubator. Quiet Tempest has been involved with quite a few threads about maternal incubation. Do a search for threads started by her.
