    BP settle in new tank?
Hey guys I've been around the forum but recently geristered after I got my new BP, I got him from the reptile expo here in NH this past Sunday. Question is is there any signs that he would show to let me know he is comfortable and settle in his new tank? He is most of the time in his hide in the cooler side(I think the hot side side is too exposed for him). Seem him yawn a few times, and he usually comes out at night or very early in the morning do some roaming around and goes bak to his hide. Should I attemp to feed him this sat? Should I wait longer for him to settle? Any tips guys? Thanks in advance

A hiding bp, is a happy bp. Mine usually hide most of the day, and come out during the night. I would look for another hide that matches the cool hide for the hot spot. Finally I would try to feed this Saturday. You have had him for a week. He may not take it, but that happens just keep trying one a week.

I agree with everything dragon said. :)

My bp spends most of his day happily curled in his cave. Sometimes he lays with his head at the entrance so he can look around and for a little while each day he'll roam around and crawl on his branch, but mostly they're very introverted little creatures.

If he's uncomfortable, he'll roam more and refuse to settle, possibly refuse food (though a large number of things can cause this), or sometimes hiss and snap at you. He'll let you know if he's unhappy.
