what is the best hygrometer??
just wondering if anyone knows the best quality hygrometer... keep in mind i am a college student so i dont really need the one that costs hundreds of dollars. lol just one that is gonna be nearly perfect in accuracy and worth my money.
Re: what is the best hygrometer??
One that I use is called a indoor/outdoor acu-rite thermo hygrometer. It has a probe that you can put one one side of the cage and you put the main part on the otherside. And it will give you a gradient temp and humidity from one side to the other, and the best part is there about 13 bucks at walmart. They work pretty well and are accurate. I found it in the home garden section, but if you cant find it just ask someone

13 bucks!!!! great. that sounds like it can fit my budget. thank u guys! i would have paid like 30 for the flukers one that everyone says that isnt that great.

They all suck, put 2x AcuRite right next to each other and they show different readings. Air does not evenly distribute moisture, your better off just observing the characteristics of the cage.
