what do you think of my sitti-a-tion

so ive been pairing my male pastel to my normal lady since early oct.
heres whats been going on.


*LOCKED UP A WHOOOOOOLE LOTTA TIMES
*1 month 3 weeks off feed(the female)
*massive swelling occurred between
around march 10th-march 26th
*just today is showing very pink belly so she'll be sheeding in about a week.
*and her swelling went down completely. (well not really she still looks a little fat but squishy to the touch.)

thats her during the swell.
which i guess may have been her ovy.
but it lasted for about 2.5 weeks.
went down and now she's in shed.

you think this may be pre-lay shed?

Tricky to say - ovulations typically last only about 24 hours though so I suspect that bulge was building.

Could it be possible she did ovulate?
Se locked up one more time after this bulge occurred

Edit: this is her first time at breeding if that makes this different. I assumed she was building but wasn't sure because she went off feed. However right before she went off she was pounding 6-7 mice a week. Then went off and began building.

I'm hopeing I just didn't notice her ovulate and :praying: hope this is her prelay
