Depends on your interests. My hubby and I are going to Ireland later this year.

I just recently went to Costa Rica and it was easily the best trip of my life. If you're into nature and taking things easy (the mentality there is really chill, they don't take anything too seriously) then I definitely recommend CR.

More info please. How long? How much are you planning on spending?

Not too expensive-Glouceshter/Rockport Mass. Gloucester=Whale Watching. Rockport=Beaches, relaxation.

    Expensive-Alaskan Cruise. Quiet, relaxing.

Super Expensive-New Zealand. Unbelievable beauty. Fall Season at this time.

    Good Luck!

I just went to Puerto Rico and loved it! It's technically domestic for the U.S. so no customs and round trip flight ended up being about $300. Plus there's jungle, ocean and lots of modern and historical sights. We also saw whales! Loved it.

If you are looking for relaxation: Taormina, Sicily or Chania, Crete.

If you are looking for night life and partying: Palma de Mallorca or Ibiza

I actually loved Croatia. Reasonably priced and great beauty. Mali Losinj is one of the islands it is breath taking and the people are very friendly.
