    Vivarium for a kingsnake
    Plain and simple, I wasnt the most natural look possible. Maintenance is not an issue. I need your suggestions.
    The resident will be a California Kingsnake.
    What kind of substrate?
    Types of plants?
    If someone could link a pic of an example of a natural environment, that would be greatly appreciated. I'd look for it myself but I don't know what I'm lookin for :D

    Here is the link to the Kingsnake caresheet. It has a section on caging and substrates. That's the best I can offer since I don't have any Kings.

    Yeah, I've read through that a couple times. It pretty much just states that they come from warm and dry climates. So I'm guessing desert type plants?
    Also, I have the aspen substrate at the moment, but I can't imagine it'd be good for planting and stuff.
