Outdoor pics of the new arrival (MAJOR DUW)
It's up in the high 80s for this weekend only, so I figured I'd get a few quick pictures of my newest normal. Slevin, my first normal is in blue so no outdoor pics :( Snapped these literally in about 4 minutes time before putting him/her back in the tub, didn't want to stress him/her out since s/he has only been here for one week.

Still a little stuck shed left on its neck but I'm not worried about it because there are no retained eye caps or stuck tail shed, and much has come off since being kept in a proper humid tub. S/he is supposedly around 4yrs old yet has weighed in at only 360grams, lighter than my 2yr old. :/ Got a little work to do and a lot of TLC.

    :)

And here's that mysterious white "spot" from the thread I posted before I picked him/her up. It was really difficult to focus and snap a picture, s/he was not cooperating. Just seems to be white coming up from the belly.

Hope you enjoyed the picture overload :D

Beautiful little "it"? Haha. (Since we don't know the sex yet) :) that white spot is really interesting.. never seen that with a normal be4. Nice find! I'm sure it will be up to strength in no time :)

Btw- can we get some mini Donkey pics also??

Yeah, she's definitely a little thin, and I'm glad she found a good home with you :) She's also very pretty, I love her light colors (especially her faded head) and she has a very sweet face. Congrats!!

oh, and I know the gender is unknown, but it looks like a "she" to me! :P

Haha I'd be ecstatic if it were a she. Hopefully I can get them both sexed after Slevin has shed. And yeah, s/he is skinnier than these pictures show.. I can feel every vertebrae petruding from his/her dorsal :tears: But, Slevin was worse when I first got him/her and has nearly doubled in weight. As long as s/he turns out to be a good eater, it'll take no time to gain weight.

S/he has interesting markings, and I also LOVE the blushed out head, so beautiful for a normal. :)

Sure is a nice normal. They're all unique, but I really like this one. Light head and interesting pattern.
May prove to be a problem feeder. Or just not fed as often as most pet BP's.
Glad you took this one in!

Yeah, I'm worried about the problem feeder part, but it was worth the troublesome possibility. Plus s/he was on live mice (that were WAY too small), so it may prove difficult to switch to f/t.

It's been cold and rainy altely, but of course the bi-polar weather in California decided to shoot up to 90 for a few days (followed by cold and rainy next week). Oh, California! I just love that my other BP decided to start shedding during the only time warm enough take them out.
