Need opinion on this Adult Spider

I am planning to get this two year old Adult Spider.

So far this is the information I got form the owner:
1.) She is tagged (microchip)
2.) Complete with Legal paper work.
3.) Healthy Eater
4.) Very tamed

My only issue is shipping, it is so hard to ship reptiles here in the Philippines.

I am getting him for about 409 USD.

Or should I just get younger one?

What more information should I ask?

Not a bad looking spider, but personally ive seen better. is the 409 shipped?? is he a reputable breeder?shipper. in my opinion that seems to be alot. In my are of the US a spider averages around 200-300 plus shipping.

I don't think that is an unreasonable price for a decent sized animal shipped overseas.

Shipping state-to-state and shipping overseas are two totally different things, and overseas shipping is way more involved and more expensive.

Judging from the pictures, I'd say that is a standard small rat he's eating, so I'd estimate his weight around 900-1100 grams, which is a good sized animal. I've seen a few adult spiders at recent reptile shows for around $250-300, so add the cost of the export paperwork, the health certificate and actual shipping, and $400 is about right.

If this is an animal you've been looking for, and you have the funds, I say get him.

That actually sounds like a good price shipped to your location, don't base your purchase entirely of price.

A healthy feeding bp is normally not a cheap one. you get what you pay for.

I would ask the seller for a guaranteed live delivery.and good luck with your purchase!:)

First off I do think it's a nice looking Spider, but it's up to you if you like the color/pattern.

Is this a two year old female or male? If female it looks a little small to be two years old if she is as healthy an eater as the seller claims. At two years a healthy eating female should be at breeding weight.

The price also seems a little low for a two year old well feeding Spider female. About right if its a proven breeder male.

Have you done any research on the reputation of the seller to make sure they are legit?
