Am I getting a good deal?

Found a female Mojave, very pretty girl, on craigslist for $250.00. He is holding her for me to pick her up. She's weighing around 300 grams right now and also getting her tank/accessories for no extra charge. Am I getting a good deal?

Where on craigslist did you find that? I'm jealous.. I'd say its a fair price, but as always with craigslist purchases, make sure everything..and I mean EVERYTHING is real and sincere..dont want to get scammed! :)

That isn't a bad price. I know that BHB was selling mojoves for $225.00 this year, but that didn't come with anything. When it is all said and done the true value of this snake is whatever you feel it is....

I paid more for my female mojave but im not complaining because she looks awesome. just make sure that its a she and not a he.

Is it a good deal? This depends on the quality of the animal. Its it eating rats? Does it have a strong feeding response? Does it have a healthy girth to it? Does it have good colors? Are you sure its a female? Are you going to be able to check? Does it have mites?

These are all questions you should ask yourself before buying a BP off craigslist.
It's not impossible to get a good deal off CL, but I believe the odds are against you.

From what he's sending me, picture wise, she looks healthy and well fed, he says she has a good feeding response and is currently feeding on rats i believe. He has not only given me his phone number but address and facebook as well so I could check out the rest of his collection. So far he really seems to know what he's talking about. As far as sex goes I can't determine 100% that she is a she but he said he will bring a probe to the meeting. I'm really hoping this turns out to be a good thing and not a scam.

In the end, it is your OP of the animal in question that matters most. I think $250 for a female Mojo is a good deal, especially if you are also getting accessories with it. If this person is willing to give you his contact information, meet with you and sex the BP in front of you, he seems genuine. I'd say go with your gut feeling.

Yeah I think it's a pretty good deal with all the equipment. Just a few weeks ago a friend of mine got two nice mojo girls for300 on craigslist
