    Eye problems
I picked this guy up last week. I noticed that his eyes appeared to be bubbled out a bit more than I thought they should be (he was deep in shed) and guessed that he may have some retained caps from the previous shed that would hopefully come off with this one. He shed perfectly, even his eye caps, but he still has what look to be pockets of fluid on his eyes. I've seen eye infections before and this looks more like old chunks of retained cap...if thats even possible. From what I can tell, the discoloration is on top of the eye, and, when looking from the side, the eye underneath looks completely normal. Any ideas?

    And just because i can...
I found a old blood pic. This guy was very vocal, and instead of striking whenever handled he would poop and musk all over you -_-
Even so he was still a pretty cool snake to own, the female i owned had amazing temperement.

Thats what I thought. The problem is that when I checked his shed his eye caps were there, which means he did shed the current caps. I've never dealt with a retained cap before, but I was under the impression that, with adequate humidity, the old ones would come off with the current ones. His humidity is fine now, however, as stated, I got him from his previous owner a few days ago when he was already deep in shed so I don't know what his humidity was like before. Is it likely that those old caps will come off with the next shed?
Here is a full body shot...other than his eyes he looks pretty good.

Thanks.... I found him on iherp. The original owner had purchased him as a baby from Ben Siegel. Hope to pair him up with my female next year.
