    DIY enclosure question?
A little while back I built a bigger enclosure for my female blood which recently passed away. I decide to clean and sterilize the enclosure, while doing so I noticed the the solution was seeping between the boards. The caulking I used the firs time dried and cracked. I re-caulked the seams with waterproof and printable silicone. it has dried but is still smelling strong.

Am I going to be able to use the enclosure for one of my other bloods or do I need to do something else?

I dont know if you are still waiting on an answer but about a month ago I had to reseal an aquarium. It said cures in 24 hours but I let it sit another day because it was still soft and smelled. after that I filled it, let it sit for a day and then drained. after that it was fine. I dont think you really need to fill it however, you may be able to get away with wiping it down with a damp towel. If it is fully cured, it shouldnt really smell anymore though, so maybe it just needs to sit longer.
