    milk snake super active
Hello, I was wondering if anyone new of a reason my honduran tangerine milksnake has become super active over the past three weeks. he constantly destroys is cage climbs the glass and streches his body like a stick in the middle of his cage up towads the top with no support of walls. I will say its neat to see but I am worried because he is also refusing to eat over the past 3 weeks. He has always been Wiley but this is a lil extreme.

Sounds like he might be a little stressed.

Tell us about your setup. Does he have some small tight hides? How big is the cage and how big is he? What Temps are you running?

Try Maybe giving him some more privacy. If your doing any handling stop for about a week before you feed. Make sure his area is low traffic and make sure he has some hides to let him feel secure. If he's in a Glass terrarium put colored paper over 3 sides of it.

Good luck! Tangerine Hondurans are very lovely.

How long have you had him? That sounds like a new snake that doesn't feel at home.
If he has been there in a contented manner and is suddenly acting up, something isn't right environment wise.

Wes knows the false Cobra, and Wes knows the Rat. Given what he knows about Milks, he may be right about that.
