what a great thing to come home from work to

there sure is no mistaking it, my first normal ball python I got 7 years ago is ovulating for the first time. this will be my first clutch of eggs.

it was very cool, I actually sat there and watched her twist her body moving everything down. so glad I was able to witness it.

Carlene- yes I am so proud. it's funny people joke that I talk about my female like she's my daughter but it really is special to have a snake for 7 years and care for it all through adolescence and when you reach adulthood, be able to breed her. it's very cool and I'm so happy she's doing such a good job. I told myself as a 13 year old boy that this female would lay my first clutch of my collection and it sure looks like she will.
