    Clown x pastel lock.
I have been rotating my clown male with my pastel girls since he hit 450 grams(He is now over 600 grams). I finally witnessed a lock today with the biggest girl. He had been with her for two days and they had made a real mess of the bin. She had been scent marking and one of them took a big poo/urates, so it is a big bloody poopy mess. I was itching to clean the bin, but I decided to leave them alone for a little longer since she was obviously receptive. Sure enough, 4 hours later they are finally locked up. It is a thing of beauty, but totally disgusting at the same time due to the horrendously messy bin. I can't wait to get a clutch of pastel het clowns! Now I just got to get him to lock with the other pastels and the het clown.

Yeah, last year I had a bumblebee breeding all the same girls, and it seems like they frequently seem to get down to business just after a poo. I guess it's a good sign when your breeders are still eating and pooping during breeding season.

Congrats and good luck! I can't wait to produce a clown, hopefully next season (fingers crossed :)).
