    BPs breeding after ovulation?
Do BPs continue to lock after the female has ovulated?

Just because a female is refusing doesnt mean she has ovulated.

She may just be done and knows she aint gonna go, has ovulated already, or plans to, etc etc

I have heard of males locking up with girls after they have ovulated as well as girls eating after ovulating.

I had a female that continued to lock up even after ovulation last year. I suppose it was recreational. :P

I thought my female had ovulated as she has a definite bulge, however my little black pastel has continued locking with her, so not too sure at what stage she is at..the little guy is quite forceful to the extent that h ehas even locked with another definite male lol! maybe he has just refused to accept she doesnt want too

It seemed like my female doubled in size after her 3rd breeding with my spider and they're still locking like crazy.

Building is often mistaken for ovulation. Best thing to do is count down 30 days after next shed and look for eggs, cant hurt. After ovulation most females will stay on the warm side coiled up.
