    photo development Q...
anyone know how much it costs to get photo prints put onto a disc that can be used to get those photos onto a computer for sharing, etc?
my digital cam is M.I.A (probably forever) so i'm back to buying/using disposables until i can afford another digital. :tears:

it depends on the place.. Where I work, we charge 4.99 for a disc at the time of processing, if you come back with already cut negatives its 10.99 a roll to scan to a CD.

In all honesty, you're better off just saving for a digital. Where I work, its 7.00 for a roll of film, or 10.99 for a disposable film camera, THEN its another 12.99 for processing and prints (for a 24 roll), and if you want the disc its 4.99 so.. almost 30 dollars a roll.

Check online like newegg.com and amazon and ebay you can get an amazing deal on a really good camera. You only need like a 7 megapixel chip to be able to print good quality prints and the 7MP will allow you to print up to 8x10, probably bigger.
