    rookie SOS, male BP size??
    ive worked with chameleons, bearded dragons and some boas, but im kinda new when it comes to BPs, and did a little research about the size of adult males. some sites say 3ft at the max while others say 5ft. can any1 clear some of the fog for me? pics would b nice with a common item for scale. ty all for the help. best site ive evr been reccomended :)

    Typically males are on the small side compared to females. I don't want to put exact numbers as their sizes can very.

    I have a 2 year old male that is 1500 grams (about 3ft) that has always been a moderately good eater.
    I also have a 2 year old male (same age within a few months) that is 2000 grams and 4ft, he has always been a above average eater.

    So my answer would be males are commonly between 3-4 ft, although I'm sure there have been males up to 5ft, but it is not common.

    I don't have any adults yet, but I have two males the same age, one is puny at 212 grams and my other is 353 grams. They vary so much, I'm going with AGENT73 (;)) on this one....

    I have males that have hit 2000+ grams and close to 4 feet.

    Just remember, most males are sexually viable at 400 grams, and tend to loose interest once they get much above 1500g.
