    New Addition...Skittle the GTP :)
Its been a while since we added anything (ball or gtp) to our collection and we had been tempted by this little guy for a while now soooooo...he came home with us yesterday :D:rolleyes:. "He's" sitting around 56g but is so much bigger than our other two neos! And its starting its color change  with a few green specks here and there.

Brought him home mid shed but he shed well over night. There was a bit stuck to the very tip of his tail though. Any suggestions on the best method to remove that? :( I tried dabbing water on it and gently letting him cruse through my hand but he soon got fed up with that and let me know

Anyway...here "he" is! I'll get better pics after he settles in and has a few meals with us.

Be real careful with the tail. Try setting him on the bottom of a tub with a wet paper towel over the whole body except the head (if you try just doing that with the tail he'll just crawl out). Let it go for 5 or 10 minutes and try working it off that way. I had a neo with a nearly complete shed stuck earlier this year and got it off this way in about twenty minutes.

Cool snake though... you don't usually see the white spot on the head like that. Ours always start changing there first but it always goes darker!

Thanks! I will try that. And we have no idea whats up with the white head spot. There are a few white spots on his back as well as the few green ones. Should be fun to watch him change :D. He's a 'Biak' type originally from Bushmaster.

Wow, he's absolutely stunning! I especially love the head spot! I'm going to have to get me a GTP, they're just too gorgeous not to keep. Can't wait to see how he changes, you'd better keep us updated!

make sure you get it off the tail though. sometimes it can cause damage to the tail if not taken care of.

I'm still working on it. I wanted to give him a few days after he ate to relax before I go at it again. Keeping his humidity up for now.

There are a few layers on there and I'm hoping that there isn't any damage already done to its tail.

Just a quick update...got the stuck shed off :D! No more blood was drawn either :p. After a few more days of resting up he'll be ready for his new house.
