    Morphs that lighten up
Ok so in the next 2-3 years I plan to breed the 3 morphs I have now and the morphs I may get. I do not plan to breed for profit, I am primarily breeding just to produce myself a BEL or a few BEL's lol. Anyway, I have 2 Mocha's and I will not be using the male Mocha for the BEL project so I want to breed him with a dom or co-dom morph that will brighten up his offspring Mocha's in the first generation instead of having to holdback (as is the case with hypo's). What morph's will do this? I know pastels will but they brown out too much for my taste.

I've seen some pastel mixes that are beautiful. But Pastel's give like a false picture. Because all their offspring bright orange and yellow, but eventually fade to brown. I'd rather produce something that even though isn't maybe as bright as a pastel from birth, will retain it's color as an adult.

Would you say Desert's fall into that category?

Fire is one of the best examples of what you're looking for.

Id go for a fire too. And you have the budget to add another female, add a female fire to have yourself a black eyed lucy to look forward to in the future. :)

Fire or Vanilla (or better yet - both) would work very well. :)

Well w.e I end up buying will be female anyway. If I produce a Fire-Mocha I'd have a snake that can produce both BEL. Hmm now I wonder if I can produce a Black eyed/blue eyed Lucy..... wonder what that would look like.
