GTP Feeding Schedule Questions

I've read that they have a very slow metabolism and was wondering how often I should be feeding mine. The vet said every other week but he hasn't defecated yet and it's the second week. Should I wait to feed him til he goes or just see if he'll eat now?

How old or how much does it weigh? What are you feeding it?

We feed all of ours weekly regardless of the defecation schedule.

Idk too much but my experience with my jungle carpet is he doesn't poop nearly as much as my ball pythons. Still eats every week. It just seems to digest a lot slower. Or retains its poop for whatever reason. I've given him a warm bath and it doesn't seem to matter.
