    Breeding behavior
I have succesfully breed burms and retics before, and now have switched to ball pythons. my question is what are normal behavior i should be seeing with them. For instance I through my male with the female and they both started arching and tail wagging but no lock up.

It might take several pairings before you see a lockup, sometimes you wont check them in the act. If they are both the right size, age, sex and conditions are proper chances are they'll lockup. If they don't, then give them some time and try again. Although this is the later part of the season and most are seeing eggs by now. Hope that helps you out.

I'm getting locks like crazy, bowl wrapping like mad, and tail wagging daily like the season was just beginning :P

We just got our first ovy's with normals X Fire and have several in glow but no eggies yet

Well good luck to you, this is my first time with balls. I only have regulars that are ready to breed now and a het caramel. All my morphs are still to small but they are putting on some good weight. Can't wait!!
