He is in full shed. He'll get rid of that girly pink color in a couple of days. :D

My super mojave actually turns pink around her head and neck while eating, even when not in shed. I assume it's increased blood flow or something?

Happens to all of mine too. I always assumes the same thing.... Since the skin is getting so stretched out, you see the thin layer of blood and capillaries much more clearly. hence, the pink hue around the face and neck

Gotta love it when white snakes eat. They turn red as if they are holdin their breath. :)
