    My first Silvers
Finally made some silvers now that I have pink eye in some of my ratties.

Almost thought I'd made albino but this is not a white rat at all :)

    The litter early on

    FUZZY BABIES!

Ugh this is why i can't breed rats, I'd just want to keep them all and love them and cuddle them.

I can get carried away with my hold overs, it's really rough when all you breed are extremely cute and friendly ratties.
Most of mine got towards pets as my partner breeds most of our snake food, but I definitely do feed runts and non desirable "pets".

Awww!!! It's awesome! I want some really pretty rats! :gj:

My mom and sis were over yesterday and noticed one of my rats has one red eye and one black eye and asked me what it was called. I said "ugh, I'll have to ask Jerry on the bp site, he'll know..." lol.

Odd-eye rats are neat, I make some occasionally with my blue rats and my Siamese that are blazed.
The high white gene would be the cause basically diluting the color of one of the eyes.
Most odd eye rats are either blazes, capped, or variegated with a white strip across the back.
I breed high white gene females to non high white males to make lots of blazes and variegated and capped ratties safely without making mega-colon babies.

    Hope that helps :)

This is a high white gene female that makes odd-eye babies, this is her 3rd litter.

When bred by my Siamese male she makes black, blue and Siamese in every litter and some neato blazes

Oh she's adorable! My odd eye girl is similar to that one. She has a blaze and a 'hooded' pattern. Somehow I haven't ran into any mega colon babies yet. I'm trying to hold back only males with lots of color now to avoid that. So far so good!

I have some really cute boys that I'm trying to find a home for rather than kill them off, but no one wants them on CL :( One boy is super cute with one white ear and one black ear, the other is a dumbo. I can't believe there aren't crazy rat people in my area!

I'm right in the heart of rat land I guess, lol, I have had no problems selling around 15 to 20 babies a month at $15 a pair :)
