What are these wrinkles on my BP?

I have noticed that my BP has wrinkles on his "neck" He hasn't eaten well in the past few months, but the past few weeks he has been eating well. He has a water bowl and a damp hide in his enclosure at all times. i also have a humidifier in the room. I soaked him a few times to see is maybe he could possibly be dehyrated but is has not changed the wrinkles. When his head is stretched out there is one fold of skin that runs parrallell to his sides.

Looks like stuck shed to me....

And your images aren't working right...I saw one before I posted and now I see none...

I fixed the pics - sorry!
He doesn't have any stuck shed on those spots ( he has a little on his head and a spot on his back but not on his neck) Would it still cause this? I will soak him some more if you think it will help.

Agreed like the above, you can soak him in some warm clean water for about an hour. Then gently rub that area with a towel and see if it comes off. There are other methods to removing stuck shed around here on the forum.

Wrinkles in snakes usually mean dehydration in my experience. Make sure fresh water is always presented. I would definately do warm water soaks. Many snakes will drink the soak water. Good luck!

The different looking area running from the base of his skull down his neck? That is all stuck shed.

It is plainly visible as it is outlined by a fringe where the stuck skin is lifting off.

I'm not sure what you think stuck shed looks like but I can assure you that is what is causing the wrinkles on his neck.

It's the shed.

Soak him in a ever-so-slightly-warmer-than-room-temp bathtub. (80 degrees is good, if you have an IR thermometer.) Make him swim in a couple inches of water for a good 5-10 minutes. At that point you can peel his neck by hand. He may even like it, once he figures out you're not just poking at his head to be a meanie.

That'll cure the wrinkles. But next time he's in shed, you'll want to find some way of boosting the humidity.

Soak him in the water, take a damp washcloth and gently wipe him off a few times with it.
