    Will she be okay?
    I just found my kingsnake with her tail stuck under the lid of one of my tanks-I need to get clip ons. Part of her tail is compressed, other than that she seems fine but I want to know if there is anything I can/should do. Thanks

    Ouch! Is that above or below her cloaca? If it's above, all I'd worry about is if it got compressed so she might not be able to pass urates or feces. :(

    If bloodflow was cut off long enough, it will die. If it wasn't too long it should be ok. If the tail tip, and it is below the cloaca, does die, you will need to cut it off to prevent the necrosis from spreading to healthy tissue.

    Thanks for the replies. The dent is pretty much gone now, I will keep checking to see that it continues healing.
