Pretty normal or lucky find?? (pic heavy ID help)
I had to go to the local pet shop to get a live feeder for our stubborn albino PH pied gal and my girlfriend wanted to tag along....big mistake. We saw this little cutie at the shop and decided to bring him/her home.

S/he has gorgeous green eyes, some flames here and there, and a really nice "sunset" fade from ventral to dorsal (pics don't show this well). Her/his top lip also has some strange patterning with some yellow, and s/he has a slight head spot.

I'm assuming its a nice looking normal, but my GF is hoping she found a potential gem. Opinions would be great and thanks in advance! :)

Supposed to show "sunset" colors, but flash killed them:

The mottled belly pretty much confirms it.

I'm color blind so can't be sure on the eyes, but they don't look green to me (like a spider or pastel have). It just looks lighter where the head stripe crosses the eye. Many/most of my normals have this.

Thanks everyone, that's what I thought. What's going on with the eye color? I've never seen a "normal" that doesn't have those black doe eyes (my big normal below). And all my other morphs have some type of eye color that dramatically differs from his.

His/her eye color and pupils are clearly visible without special lighting (the new one above). I have no problem with her/him being a normal, but any thoughts on eye color?

Maru's eyes are a bit lighter, not really pure black, you can see her little pupil in there. I personally think you DID find a gem..But it is a normal gem, and there is nothing wrong with having a few beautiful normals! The eyes on yours are lighter than I've normally seen, but I don't know if they scream morph at me or anything!

But if you ever have a need to breed a normal to something, at least you will be using one of the prettiest normals I've seen!
