please Help my BP got out of its cage.
My bp got out of her cage sometime last night. I was out of town and had someone go in the rooom and check temps n stuff but they never opened cages or anything. She pushed her way out and now I can't find her. I've looked everywhere. Theres a hole in the wall she could have gotten into but I don't think she's there. Any suggestions would be nice.

I've heard if you place a heat pad in the middle of the floor and turn all the lights off....wait about 30 mins and the snake will be there :) Hope this helps...I've never tried it.

I'd leave some water in the bathtub. Might not hurt to scent the heat pad either.

I would check any place warm close to the hot water heater behind the fridge anywhere the temp may be up a few degrees Keep us posted!!!

Look in any small tight spaces. They usually don't travel far. If she is in the wall, I don't know what you can do.. They like to hide, and they will fit into places you would be surpised about. Look in drawers, furniture, whatever. Good luck..

As far as the heat pad thing, maybe also put down the snake's hide in the heat source, some snakes won't go to heat unless they can still hide

I put a rat in a clear plastic container with holes and put it in the area I think she should be and hung a heat lamp over it. Hopefully she'll come.

    Good luck finding her!

If she doesn't come to the rat look within a 3-4 foot radius of where she got out. They seem to stay close. Once you have done that check around/in anything that is plugged in.

I found her. She was in one of my desk drawers. One of the drawers i didnt look in. She's fine and at the moment she's eating a fat rat.

Was it within 3-4 feet of where she got out?
