    In my boa's water dish. I've seen it twice before, and assume it's some sort of parasite or worm.

    When did you get this boa? And did u quarantine it? Or is it with the rest of your collection?

    I rescued him a while back, and he had a bad URI.

    He's been in quarantine.

    I need to know what kind of worm this is, and how to treat it.

    It's about 4-5 inches long.

    Vet said it was more like a mucus plug of some kind...

    He gave me a specimen jar to hold onto if I get a fresh one, or other future surprises.

    A very LATE update... And I'm sorry the photo no longer shows.

    I long since forgot about this thread.

    It turned out, it was the shed from one of his hemipenis'. I wasn't aware that they did shed.
