My big Redneck Wedding

I hate myself for watching this show, but they have an episode where the wife buys her husband an adult albino ball python. She has no idea what kind of snake it is. The redneck snake breeder just called it a "yeller shnake" The husband turned out to HATE snakes too...I'm so worried for this poor thing. I dunno if she paid retail for it though. Maybe the redneck breeder really is THAT stupid? It is aweful.I knew people were stupid with reptiles, but I thought designer morphs of ball pythons were immune...guess not. :(

But that means they were once not immune; so they could not escape it! So they were not immune, since they were not always dead. Like saying a frog is not a tadpole, sure it isn't; but it used to be!

Along this same line, my daughter was watching Disney Channel today, and the show about kids on a Yacht, I forget the name, anyhow they had a huge crate labeled Dangerous Snakes.

Now of course the kids manage to knock the lid off the crate, and the snakes start invading the ship.

In the first place, no one is going to take " dangerous snakes" on a cruise ship. Second, no one is going to secure a crate with any live animal in it so poorly. Third, I'd love to know how they figure 99% of those snakes were "dangerous". I spotted Ball Pythons, Hognoses, Cornsnakes, Milk Snakes, Garden Snakes, a Carpet Python, and a beautiful Albino Burmese, as well as several species I did not recognize. Along with numerous rubber snakes. :rofl:

Sigh. :( Just one more example of the media perpetuating the myth that all snakes can kill.

So i saw this bumper sticker one time that read "stupidity should hurt". It is probably one of the best things ive ever read. And its the truth. lol:)
