What makes a spider a good spider? or is it all a matter of taste?

I am waiting patiently to buy a female spider... I am really picky on which ones I like/don't like but I'm wondering if there is a standard of what makes a good/bad/average spider bp? For example, like the NERD pastels (lemon pastels) are high end and would be considered very nice pastels because they have high yellow + blushings etc.- and I think most of the BP community would agree on what a "10" pastel is... But when it comes to spiders, they can vary from being very light, high white, reduced pattern, to very dark low white and lots of pattern (and everything in between). I personally like the light, high white- but I am wondering what factors make a spider an ideal spider (pattern/color wise- not attributed to the wobble). Is there a universal consensus on what people would consider a "10" spider? Thanks

i would just look for a reputable breeder like nerd and see what spiders they have and pick what to me looks the nicest snake.

spiders are a matter of taste, I like busy high whites, some people like reduced, some people like low white, you can pick just about any spider and someone will call it a 10

High white sides, defined head pattern, and no spots in the pattern are what I think defines a "10" spider. My definition of a "10" spider is an animal with minimal wobble and a nice disposition. Looks come second after these two factors. I have seen beautiful spider and spider combos that are mean as the devil and other that have such horrible wobbles that they have a very difficult time existing. JMO.

Hmm, that's a tough one. Personally, I prefer high white, light colored and reduced pattern spiders (Plus a very unique and balanced head pattern and minus the wobble). But recently, upon checking on other spiders, Im becoming a fan of high white spiders w/ lots of alien eyes. I find them unique, and just simply beautiful. So I guess, my answer to your question is its still in the eye of beholder. :)

Look for a high white, the lighter the browns the better, and little wobble. If you can find one that never wobbles, or wobbles only at around feed time, it's a good one.
