Building a new 2000 gal this summer for what we hope to be our new Arowana or (fingers crossed) Saber Tooth Payara pond.

To be honest I do not even know if Sabs can be kept together. But it would be amazing if thats what my friend and I decided on having.

Never had any Koi ponds of my own but I grew up with a family who had 9+ of them and used to (and probably still does) sell Koi and build ponds.

Don't know if that counts as having a pond but I thought I'd throw in my stories.

Also building a Koi pond for my mother this year I believe, no idea on size and volume yet but thats as close as I have to a Koi pond. :P

    Yeah,
I have a Koi pond and a goldfish pond in the garden.
    The Koi pond is 18' x 12' x 5' deep.
I use a Nexus 300 filter and UV to keep it clean, coupled with an aeriated bottom drain.
Got about 12 fish in there at the moment.
The Goldfish pond is full of mating frogs at the moment, have to keep fishing them out of the Koi pond or they drown.
