    Just a few questions
Im not sure I am feeding my BP enough he is fat and hasnt lost weight I feed him a fuzzy every 5 days I was going to move up in size but the last fuzzy I fed him from the first pack was a bit bigger than the rest and he spit it up Ive never tried offering 2 at a feed
He is a little "jumpy" seams kind of nervous when I hold him doesnt try and get away but usually stays balled up unless I am right by his tank then he tries to get into it If I make any sudden movements he curls up and jerks a bit He didnt act like this when I handeled him in the reptile store ( he was from a breeder NOT a "pet store") any advise on how to get him more comfortable without stressing him? I try and take him out daily except after a feed for 5 mins at a time
I also want to have my son hold him He can hardly wait I was waiting until Im totally confident "fluffy" wont strike at him any signs to watch for??
sorry Im writing a novel apparently

BP's right out of the egg eat fuzzy mice, I'd recommend bumping him up to hopper mice. I doubt very much a BP would regurge a fuzzy mouse for being too big. Are you sure you are thawing out the mice enough? Also are you sure he has enough heat to digest?

    Re: Just a few questions
Ive had him 6 weeks and I think I may have not defrosted that one enough It was a strange feed almost like he choked also he shed 2 days later so many problems Ive learned my lesson for sure!! as far as heat his hot side has the under tank heater and a heat bulb 91+ and the cold side is 80 I have never seen him in his hot side and thought it was too hot so I put a piece of newspaper between the glass and aspen didnt want a burn It felt pretty hot to touch the glass and he never did get the mouse all the way down that time there was feet and tail still visable when he regurgitated it

If you aren't using a thermostat you really need to get one... A uth without one can get hot enough to burn your snake... You need to be sure that the FT is completely thawed before you feed it. If you don't they will more than likely regurgitate it.

Remember not to feed you bp for 14 days after it regurgitates. It takes time for its system to rebuild...
