My big girl Mona (a proven breeder - bred her last year) is usually such a sweetheart, and has NEVER tried to bite me in the past... but for the last few days, she has really been Miss Cranky Pants. :mad: She struck at the tub yesterday, and today she flipped out when I tried to handle her. She's been eating as recently as this Tuesday, in fact her appetite is ravenous, and she last shed on 2/4. She's not bowl wrapping, but does look awfully swollen and a bit triangular. Is this all a sign of impending ovulation? And is sudden crankiness a typical pre-ov/gravid behavior? I don't remember her doing that last year, aside from maybe the end of her gravid period. Just wanna know when to expect everything!
