    HELP! very cold monitor
My Savannah Monitor got away from me and we found her in the coldest room of the house, She was freezing, moving her tongue very slowly and peeing a little. She has been in my hand for about 30 minutes warming up. She is still very lethargic. What do I do?

Update: She is doing much better now. She's in her cage sleeping. We are going to lizard proof the house so this doesn't happen again. She is still pretty small but she does love her exercise.

Glad to hear she's ok. My suggestion was going to be to warm her up gradually, rather than just putting her in a hot cage. Extreme rapid temp changes can be more dangerous than the initial exposure to the cold. But it sounds like you did that nicely with your hands and everything is ok now. :)

Thanks, she is back to her old self this morning. It's very comforting to know I did the right thing. I was thinking that warming her up too quick would be hard on her. It looked really bad for a minute. She is the sweetest little thing :) (Won't be able to say that much longer...lol)
