Macro normal, for those who love photography, and their bps of course :)

Looks good. If you have a light tent sort of thing set up that will help with the light. Also, play around with your camera and see if it has the option to adjust the flash power. My camera is nothing special, so most cameras should have the same options mine has (It's a canon powershot and is 3 years old http://www.besportier.com/archives/c...-is-digit.html). When I take macro shots with my camera I turn the flash way down. The other thing about macro is that you cannot zoom at all, you just need to put the camera as close as you can and slightly move it till it focuses on the right thing.

In this one I turned the flash too far down-you can see all the dark shadows caused by that. It's also hard to get your camera to focus on the right thing, but after you play with it a lot, you'll get the hang of it!

This one was without flash in my 'light tent'. It's pretty much just a white poster board, the kind you would use for a school science project for a background. I have that set up on top of melamine with a light above it. Totally simple and cheap.

My camera also has a digital macro setting. It won't allow you to use flash, but it adjusts the light setting on its own depending what you have the camera pointed towards. This is a really fun setting to play with.

My camera's Macro was never close enough for me, but good quality macro lenses are wayyy expensive so I cheated. I bought a set of macro filters and an adapter ring to hold them for like $30, and I love the results.

I actually really like the picture. The lighting's weird and there's some glare, but it has a cool effect. I love the eyes!

:gj: Same here. For such cheap lenses, I wasn't expecting much, but they're actually quite effective.
