    Second BP
Got our second BP 8 days ago (2010 pied male). Breeder was feeding live rat pups. He is 276 gr. I offered him a f/t rat pup 25gr yesterday with no luck. I'm gonna try again in a week but thinking bout trying live until he eats regular then try switching to f/t. Also can feeding live give him parasites? Our first BP a a2010 normal female which we got in dec was already on f/t and she ate on first attempt and eats great. She's perfect. Any thoughts?

Yeah, feed him what he's used to for the first few weeks while he's settling in, then try switching to f/t. The most important thing is to make sure he's eating well in his new home :) That's great that your female ate right away. Some bps are pigs and some are picky unfortunately. And yes, every once and awhile if you get them from a bad source, live rodents can carry parasites. It's usually not a big issue though, and I know many people who feed live with no problems.

Oh, and I agree..... I would also like to see some pics!! :P Pieds are awesome!! Is he a low white or a high white?
